Product Description

The flap-type check valve is an automatic valve used in industrial pipeline systems to prevent the backflow of media. It relies on the self-flowing force of the medium to automatically open and close the valve disc, without the need for manual operation. It can effectively protect key equipment such as downstream pumps, compressors, boilers, etc. from damage caused by reverse fluid impact, and avoid safety accidents caused by sudden pressure increase in the pipeline system. It is an indispensable safety protection device in the fluid transportation system.Structure and Materials
Body: The valve body is manufactured through a precise integral casting process. The standard materials include WCB carbon steel (for normal working conditions) and CF8 (304)/CF8M (316) stainless steel (for corrosive working conditions). Special materials such as ductile iron, low-temperature steel, and duplex steel can also be selected. It is suitable for different temperature, pressure, and medium environments.Opening and closing components: The valve disc and valve seat are processed by matching grinding. The standard configuration includes stainless steel valve discs and pins. Hard alloy clad sealing surfaces can be selected to significantly enhance wear resistance and service life. Some large-diameter models are equipped with buffering devices to effectively reduce water hammer impact.Connection methods: Standard flange connections are available according to national standards (GB/T), American standards (ANSI), and German standards (DIN). The sealing surface forms include RF raised surfaces, FM concave surfaces, and RJ ring connection surfaces. It can be seamlessly connected to the vast majority of industrial pipeline systems worldwide.Auxiliary components: High-strength bolts and nuts are provided, along with temperature-resistant and corrosion-resistant sealing gaskets. The valve cover adopts a bolt-fastening structure, facilitating disassembly and maintenance.

Working principle
When the medium is flowing in the forward direction, the fluid pressure drives the valve disc to rotate upward around the pin shaft and open, allowing the medium to pass through smoothly. When the medium stops flowing or flows in reverse, under the combined effect of its own gravity and the reverse medium pressure, the valve disc rotates rapidly to close, blocking the fluid passage and thus achieving the function of preventing the reverse flow of the medium.AdvantagesUltra-low flow resistance, energy-saving and efficientWith the fully-through-flow streamlined valve body design, the fluid passage is smooth without any dead corners, and the pressure loss is extremely small (≤ 0.015 MPa), which is much lower than that of the lift type check valve. This can significantly reduce the operating energy consumption of the pipeline system, especially suitable for large-diameter and high-flow conditions.Quick opening and closing, good anti-backflow effectThe valve disc has a large rotation angle, fast opening speed, short closing response time, and can quickly cut off the passage at the initial stage of reverse flow of the medium, effectively preventing the impact of reverse flow on the upstream equipment and ensuring the safety of the system.Reliable sealing, zero leakage guaranteeThe valve disc and valve seat are precisely matched and ground, with high sealing surface fit, and the hard sealing structure leakage rate can reach ANSI Class VI level; an optional soft sealing structure can be selected to achieve zero leakage, suitable for extremely high-sealing requirements in the working conditions.
